elements of plot 2 ...

all human actions have one or more of these seven causes: chance, nature, compulsion, habit, reason, passion, and desire - aristotle (384 bc – 7 march 322 bc !)

elements of plot in a narrative :

2. conflict or Problem - goal which the main character of the story has to achieve.

due to popular demand, our main character, the son of the soil takes on the name as "woodpecker". is there a conflict ? is there a problem ? is there a goal "woodpecker" has to achieve ? yes ... am not saying much, i let the picture speak for itself ...

First of all what Aristotle said makes a lot of sense...and this has to be the understatement of the year..but anyway...
Ok so I am still not clear what this son of the soil-a.k.a woodpecker from popular demand is upto?Trying to chop down the tree?
I never understand the obvious...pretty dumb & totally lost.help! help!

Maybe son-of-soil is trying to tease something (sap?)out of the tree in order to attract some innocent third party so that he might catch it while it sips on the tree resin?

I rather claim to be dumb than claim I know everything.Anyway high-funda aside..let me rephrase my old comment..I CAN be (pretty)dumb...:)
As for being pretty....I dont know either...pretty,beauty..all relative concepts... all in the eyes of the beholder.
