my experience would have been complete without this forest canteen ... black tea, dosai ! ... errr ... biscuits ! the menu board has about 37 items on its list ...

thats exactly what it is called ... a climber with plenty of flowers, hanging down the trees, during the mist filled season on the upper reaches of southern western ghats of south india.

was walking off the track in this disturbed patch of a national park, which is a rainforest ... my eyes were not trained to look for somethin of this colour n shape, thought somebody had dropped something ... but this one is called something ...

many a times plain(just) looking is the safest bet to ones sanity ...
here i dont remember any detail while photographing this creature, except ... going around the bush.

i rember this picture so well ... shot this pic two and a half years back,
remember the location, remember the camera settings, remember the lighting, remember the weather .... but about the subject ... all i know is that its a 'shrew' and ... not a rat ...
