perspective ...

perspective ( Latin-perspicere to see through ) is a mathematical system for projecting the three-dimensional world onto a two-dimensional surface, which begins with a horizon line, which defines the farthest distance of the background and a central vanishing point, which defines the foreground of the space, in which the artist may arrange figures, objects, subjects, these elements link the science of three-dimensional geometry with the art of illusionistic representation.

accidents happen when calculations go wrong Suresh, i get hurt because the tree dimensional picture i drew in my mind was wrong. sometimes we completely misjudge the weight of water. Moin took me for a funeral of my friend's brother in pouring rain, i felt the rain drops would tear through my head. speed and weight of water
my mathematics is pretty bad Suresh. But everybody calculates. including birds and animals, though they don't have a degree in any subject.

Since sparrows are disappearing, i keep water and grains for them, crows have been eating drinking too. i kept water in a mud pot placed on a used wash basin porcelain pedestal in the midddle of the terrace. it was shaking with the weight of the crow's landing speed. i thought it might fall and break. so i moved the pedestal to the side nearly touching the metal stairs. the crows reduced their landing speed.

We create illusions, don't we Suresh.. but the sunlight in your photo, dappling through the trees is no illusion is it?.. The sun most always changes our perspective to a happier one... don't you think?

Interesting observation Rauf.. do you suppose that the crow thought he would hurt himself when the basin was near the stairs or did he have to maneuver more carefully? or was he frightened that he was too close to humans? they are smart!

hi rauf ... all calculations about life have multiple variables, one small approximation can lead to drastic mismatch, but this is what leads to perfection in our next calculation.
i completely agree that everything and everyone calculates with multiple variabes, its mind boggling how plants and birds plan their season based on wind and cloud formation (will discuss in my next post).

how sweet and wonderfull you feed birds with water ... it must be amazing, bird watching. good deed indeed !

dear gwen, oh indeed we create illusions, multiple ones and ones within it.
sunlight is the most amazing light of all with all due respect, its awesome even to think of what all that it creates ... pretty much all life forms depend on it, even the elements such as wind, water and fire depend on it .... ofcourse all of it so that it makes us a happier one ... i think !!!
